Sharon Anne Helson age 49 of Newbury Park Calif. formerly of Ferndale Mich. passed away on Friday September 16 2011 following a long illness. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Arizona State University in 1985 and a Master's Degree in Education from UCLA in 1992. Sharon is survived by her husband David Chow; her children Kelly Matthew and Alexander Chow; siblings Robert Cathy Richard (Maureen) and Ronald Helson; also nephew; nieces; parents Helen and Donald Helson. Interment was in California. A Memorial service will be Saturday October 29 2011 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Ferndale Mich.
