Herbert J. Goodall Jr., 96, of Royal Oak, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Evergreen Health and Living Center, Southfield. He wasbornApril 25, 1911, in Ontario, to Herbert and Inez Goodall. Mr. Goodall served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was the business administrator for the Royl Oak school system for 30 years. He was a longtime member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Royal Oak, a life member and Melvin Jones Fellow of the Royal Oak Lions Club, a life member of the Royal Oak American Legion and served on the Salvation Army Advisory Board. Surviving are his daughters, Janet (Robert) Shook of Royal Oak and Shirley (Eduardo) Guzman of Margate, Fla.; grandchildren, Pamela, Mike, Sandra and Karen and 10 great grandchildren. His wife, Mary, whom he married Aug. 12, 1939, in Detroit died in 2005. Visitation, 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S.
