Robert F. Wills, of Clarkston and Pasadena, Calif., died Jan. 27, 2008, at home with his family in Pasadena. He was born Feb. 21,1921, in Detroit. Mr. Wills was a decorated World War II pilot with the 783rd Squadron, a member of the American Legion, the Eagles and a lifetime member of the Elks Club. He was the co-founder of Royal Oak's Alpine Ski Shop and St. Lawrence Sales and founder of Dairy Bob's in Royal Oak. Mr. Wills is survived by his children, Susan (George) Kinney of Pasadena, Mary Ellen VanDeWalle of Madison Heights, David (Kathy Newman) Wills of Pasadena and Robert (Ellen) Wills of Glendora; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Katie Denne. A memorial service will be held June 28 at Emmanuel Bethel Church, 4000 Normandy Road, Royal Oak. Interment will be June 29 at West Deerfield Cemetery, North Branch.
