Richard C. McCormick, 77, of Warren, died Jan. 24, 2008, at St. Anthony Nursing Healthcare, Warren. He was born Aug. 8, 1930, in Hopkins County, Ky. Mr. McCormick retired in 1987 from Inter-City Trucking in Detroit after 30 years of service. Before moving to Warren, he was a resident of Madison Heights for three decades. Mr. McCormick is survived by his children, Denise (Bill) Wells, Gary McCormick and Larry McCormick; grandchildren, Derik and Samantha Wells, Angie McCormick, Larissa (Lynn) Lester and Kathy McCormick; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary. Visitation hours are scheduled Saturday from 4-9 p.m., Sunday from 1-9 p.m. and Monday at 10 a.m. at Gramer Funeral Home, Diener Chapel, 48271 Van Dyke, Shelby Township. A funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m., at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 32725 Ryan, Warren.
