Gilbert W. Luoma, 74, formerly of Clawson, died Jan. 16, 2008, in Lehigh Acres, Ha. He was born April 21, 1933, in Greenland, Mich. Mr. Luoma served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a master plumber and owned his own business for many years in the Clawson area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Luoma, and daughter, Sherry Cadorette. Mr. Luoma is survived by his children, Kathleen (Mike) Meier, Sandra Todd (Michael Faubert), Inez (Glen) Makowiec of Florida and William (Carrie) Luoma; sister, Gail (Vince) Santagrossi; 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Visitation, 1-9 p.m. today at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road, between 14 Mile Road and 15 Mile Road in Clawson; service, 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home; interment, White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy.
