Thelma L. Streetman, 76, of Madison Heights since 1955, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, in South Carolina. She was born Dec. 30, 1931. Mrs. Streetman was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, serving as a deacon and member of the Christian education committee. Her hobbies included sewing and seamstress work, bird watching and square dancing. She actually did the calling for round dancing. She and her husband were members of the Square Dance Factory Club and loved vacationing in Gaylord. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Streetman, on Jan. 16, 2005. They were married June 4, 1955, in Detroit. Surviving are her children, William (Colleen) Streetman of Westerville, Ohio, Janet (Martin) Jankowski of Hazel Park and Nancy (Thomas) Kerr of Livonia; sister, Barbara Habermas of Plymouth; grandchildren, Andrew (Andrea), Terrence, Thomas, Paul and Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews.
