Delores Jean Gossett, 73, of Dexter, Mo. died Saturday, Dec. .29, 2007, at her home. She was born Feb. 20,1934, in Crow, W. Va., to the late Otis Johnson and Clara Kirk Johnson. Mrs. Gossett was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, Order of the Eastern Star and Missouri Southern Healthcare Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Jerry, whom she wed Jan. 1, 1954, in Dearborn; daughters, Judy K. McDonald of Crystal River, Fla., Teresa Larocque of High Ridge, Mo., Diane Mitchell of Summerville, S.C. and Barbara Judge of Dexter; brother, Dillard Johnson of Crow, W.Va.; sisters, Dana Richmond of Crow, Evelyn Lucas of Beaver, W.Va. and Marlyn Roberts of Hazel Park; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by brother Bobby Johnson, sisters Freda Hensley and Lorretta Fasemier and two grandsons. Visitation, 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of funeral services, 1 p.m., Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home, 125 W. Stoddard, Dexter, Mo., with the Rev. Kevin Murray officiating; graveside service, 11 a.m. Thursday, Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, Ark., with the Rev. Kevin Murray officiating.
