Sidney George Sutton, 69, of Warren, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital, Warren. He was born Aug. 11, 1938 in Freemont, Neb. He is survived by wife, Marlene M. Sutton, whom he wed April 20, 1963 at St. Mary Magdalen, Hazel Park; children, James, Tom (Linda), Karen Brooks, Sharon and Mark; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Becki, Tim, Magan, Austen; siblings, Janet Sutton, Olive Sutton; sister-in-law, Roz Sutton; and many nephews and nieces. Hazel Patterson Hazel Patterson, 71, a 40-year resident of Clawson, died 'Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born April 18, 1936 in Fordsville, Ky. Mrs. Patterson enjoyed quilting, canning, gardening and hunting deer. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She retired in 1998 as a press operator for Hawthoren Metal Products in Royal Oak after 30 years. She was a member of UAW Local 417. She was predeceased by parents, Joseph and Sybil Lanham; and siblings, Hubert Ralph, Margaret Swets and Ada Pinkston. She is survived by husband, Cords Patterson; children, Launa (Daniel) McHale and Paula Harland; grandchildren, Brian, Adam, Ryan, Samantha and Marcus; and siblings, Jimmy (Joann) Lanham and Norman (Carol) Lanham.
