Sue Pingilley, 75, a resident of Sterling Heights for 15 years, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born Nov. 22, 1932, in Enterprise, Ala. Mrs. Pingilley was employed for more than 35 years as a teacher for Boys and Girls Bible Clubs. She also was a member of Woodside Bible Church in Troy. She married Roy Pingilley on Feb. 28, 1953, in Detroit. She is survived by her husband, Roy; children, Carol (Bill) Galloway of Royal Oak and Ron (Rhonda) Pingilley of Houston, Texas; four brothers; three sisters; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodside Bible Church, 6600 Rochester Road, Troy. Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Rochester Hills. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-9 p.m. Thursday at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights. Additional visitation is 10:30-11 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may be addressed to Boys and Girls Bible Clubs, 21122 Indian Street, Southfield, MI, 48033.
