Russell D. Laws, 72, of Warren, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, in Weakley County. Term. Mr. Laws lived in Warren for the past five years and before that in Hazel Park. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He also was an avid horse trainer and horse racing enthusiast. Surviving are his wife, Sherian, whom he married April 4, 1981, in Troy; children, David (Janice) Laws of Madison Heights, Dana (Steve) Elmo of Dimondale, Kenneth (Terri) Laws of Warren; stepson, Matthew (Pinda) Williams of Sanramon, Calif; grandchildren, Neil, Jason, Nathan, Carl, Maxwell, Emily, Tyler, Sammy K. and Anthony; siblings, Bob (Jane) Laws of Martin, Term., Larry (Janet) Laws of Shelby Township and Barbara (Don) McKernan of Algonac.
