Elizabeth Armstrong, 86, a longtime Royal Oak resident, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, Dec. 17, 2007. She was born Aug. 13,1921 in Detroit. Mrs. Armstrong was a retired teacher with countless friends. She was a longtime member of the PEO, ADK, SAI and the Royal Oak and Birmingham community bands. She was predeceased by hus- band William Armstrong in 1999. The couple wed Aug. 12, 1959 in Highland Park. She was the mother of children, William (Shirley) Armstrong of Bloomfield Hills, Fran (Larry) Ochoa of Royal Oak, Robert Armstrong; and grandmother of Alexander Murray, Sarah Ochoa, Daniel Ochoa, and Christopher Ochoa.
