Harvey R. Junker, 68, of Berkley since 1980, formerly of Detroit, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at Providence Hospital, South- field. He was born Sept. 21, 1939, in Detroit. Mr. Junker served America in the U.S. Army. Afterwards, he worked at General Motors for 30 years before retiring. He is survived by his wife, Valaree C., whom he wed Dec. 26, 1970, in Detroit. Also surviving are his children, Shannon M. Junker of Berkley and Juliee A. Junker of Warren; and granddaughter, Ava M. Weise. Visitation, 2-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 W.12 Mile, Berkley; additional visitation, 10 a.m. Thursday until time of service, 11a.m., Huntington Woods Lutheran Church, 12935 W.11 Mile, Huntington Woods, 48070.
