Tillie M. Green, 90, of Oak Park for 30 years, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at home. She was born May 30, 1917, in Sagamore, Pa. Mrs. Green lived the past 30 years in the same house in Oak Park. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, and the company of her many close friends. Mrs. Green was also a breast cancer survivor. She was very proud to be one of the women known as "Rosie the Riveter." These women worked in the factories during World War II supplying the U.S. military with everything they needed. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry 11. (1992). She is survived by her children, Robert H. (Jane Joen) Green and Gregory H. (Peggy) Green.
