Ellen Elaine Field, 83, of Hazel Park, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at St. John Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights. She was born June 26,1924, in Coal Center, Pa. Mrs. Field was a life member of Eastern Star, and a member of the Hazel Park First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jack, whom she wed June 15, 1947, in Detroit; children, Elizabeth (James) McGheel, Jack (Lori) Field; sister, Pauline; five grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings John, Roy, Joseph Jr., and Louise; and parents, Joseph and Ruth Devers. There will be a private memorial service.
