Paul Frederick Wegehaupt, 59, of Royal Oak, formerly of Detroit, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at home after an extended illness. He was born Sept. 23, 1948, in Detroit. Mr. Wegehaupt was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He received his bachelor's of science degree from Eastern Michigan University. He was also a life member and past officer of the DAV, Chapter 19 of South Oakland County, an Eagle Scout and a former member of the Royal Oak Optimist Club. Surviving are his wife, Ilene, whom he married Sept. 3, 1976, in Royal Oak; son, James Paul (Lauren) Wegehaupt of Royal Oak; brother, Geoffrey A. (Dori) Wegehaupt of New Baltimore; grandchildren, Emma and Grace; and cousin, Susan Allyn of Kauai, Hawaii. He was predeceased by parents, Paul F Wegehaupt Sr. and Muriel Allyn Wegehaupt; and a niece, Ayme Wegehaupt. Arrangements, Wm.
