Sue A. Mitchell, 79, of Sterling Heights and formerly of Madison Heights, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, in Sterling Heights. She was born June 30, 1928, in Bardwell, Ky. Mrs. Mitchell resided one week in Sterling Heights and before that in Madison Heights since 1959. Mrs. Mitchell was predeceased by five siblings. Surviving are her husband, James A. Mitchell, whom she married in December of 1947 in Highland Park; daughter, Jerri (Scott) Rich of Sterling Heights; grandchildren, Melissa (Darin) Nunn, Monica (Joseph) Kenner, Mariah Rich and McKenzie Rich; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Jamie, Calista, Jessica, Elijah, Jordan, Seth and Moriah. Visitation, 5-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-9 p.m. Sunday at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights; services, noon Monday at the funeral home; burial, White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Madison Heights.
