Elizabeth "Betty" Jean Tamm, 80, of Royal Oak, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at Angela Hospice, Livonia. She was born June 15, 1927, in Grosse Pointe Farms. Mrs. Tamm had made her home in Royal Oak since 1950. She was a member of St. Mary Parish since 1950. Mrs. Tamm was an avid knitter and loved to crochet. She was a devoted mother to her family. Mrs. Tamm was prede¬ceased by her children, Liz-Beth Gutholm, Frederick Tamm and Eric Tamm; and siblings, Shirley Tamm and Joan Lentz. Surviving are her children, John (Janet) Tamm of Attica Township, Denise (Patrick) Riley of Colorado, Gregory (Robin) Tamm of Berkley, Ann (Michael) Tatum of Berkley, Steve (Wendy) Tamm of Royal Oak, James (Cathy) Tamm of Brighton, Mary (Jeff) Girard of Sylvania, Ohio, Aimee Tamm of Madison Heights and Melanie (Lonnie) Spranger of Madison Heights; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sib¬lings, Paula Johnson, Ralph Beaupre, Judy Beckman and Mary O'Connor.
