Elizabeth "Libby" Ellen Hill, 55, formerly of Ferndale, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, in Arlington Heights, M., at the home of her sister, Cathy. Ms. Hill was born June 17, 1952, in Welch, WVa. She moved to Ferndale in 1961, where she lived until November 2006. Ms. Hill was a graduate of Ferndale High School in 1970 and attended Oakland Community College. She was a painter and an avid music fan and enjoyed singing in the First Baptist Church choir. She was a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons. She was preceded in death in 2006 by her father, Billy Ray Hill, and earlier this year by her mother, Maxine Darby Hill. She is survived by her loving sister, Cathy Hill Deane; brotherinlaw, Paul Deane; nephew, Davis Deane; niece, Carrie Deane; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
