Anna Paczas, 83, of Hazel Park, died Sunday, Oct. 21. 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy. She was born Sept. 9, 1924, in Detroit. Mrs. Paczas lived in Hazel Park for 57 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, on Oct. 28, 2000. Surviving are children, Gregory (Krista) Paczas of Rochester, Kenneth (Karen) Paczas of Westland, Cynthia (James) Harder of Lenox; siblings, Steven (Mary) Wolak of Hawaii, Ted Wolak of Roseville, Bernice (Al) Olejniczak of Macomb Township; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation, 39 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. Rosary at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights; Prayers, 8:45 a.m. with 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Rene Goupil Church, 35955 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights, with Fr. Joy officiating; burial, White Chapel Cemetery Troy; memorials may go to the American Cancer Society.
