Arthur R. Banbury, 80, of Royal Oak for more than 70 years, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at home. He was born April 8, ,1927, in Royal Oak. He retired from Plumbers Local No. 98 in Detroit after 40 years of service. He was an avid fisherman. Surviving is his wife, Shirley I. Banbury, whom he married Oct. 8, 1949, at First Methodist Church in Royal Oak; children, Ray T. (Linda) Banbury of Chesterfield, Robert D. (Mary) Banbury of Madison Heights, and Lee A. (Mary) Banbury of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. He was predeceased by siblings, Maurice E. Banbury, Maxine Magee, John Banbury, and Ethel Perry. A memorial visitation will be held from 35 p.m. Monday at Wm.
