Ruth J. Compagnoni, 86, a 51-year resident of Hazel Park, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 in Madison Heights. She was born Oct. 10, 1920 in Chatham, Mich. Mrs. Compagnoni was a longtime member of St. Mary Magdalen Church. She was a volunteer at the Hazel Park Recreation Center, and loved playing bingo. She was predeceased by husband, Raymond, in January 2001; and children, Sharon Hooten and David Compagnoni. Surviving are children, Raymond (Maxine) Compagnoni, Bob (Sylvia) Compagnoni, Carole (Bud) Bartlett, Daniel (Barb) Compagnoni, Marion (Mike) Schumaker, Gina (Ron) Jenkins; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
