Dorothy Jean Galasso, 80, of Clinton Township, and a 25year resident of Macomb County for 25 years, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. She was born Feb. 4, 1927, in Springfield, Tenn. Mrs. Galasso was a homemaker. She was married for 50 years to her late husband, Henry, who died in 1996. She was also predeceased by parents, Jasper and Pina Clark. She is survived by her children, Christina (Henry) Pineau, Henry (Anna Maria) Galasso, Jon (LeeAnn) Galasso, and Kathleen Truran; grandchildren, Joe "Jeff" (Jill) Galasso, Jeannette (Dan) Scalici, Albert (Cassie) Galasso, Dione (John) Wemple, John (Jen) Pineau, Erik Truran, David Truran, and Lauren Galasso; and greatgrandchildren, McKenzie Galasso, Drew Galasso, Vincent "Vinnie" Scalici and Vivian Scalici. Burial has taken place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township; memorial contributions, Turning Point of Macomb; arrangements by Resurrection Funeral Home, 400 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
