Betty Fay Osborne, 74, died Saturday Oct. 6, 2007, at Brian's House Hospice. She was born in Wise, Va., Dec. 21, 1932, to the late Troy & Allie (Boggs) Stapleton. Mrs. Osborne was a former member of the Sixth St. Baptist Church of Royal Oak, where she was very active for many years. She was employed by Birmingham Public Schools for twentysix years, retiring in 1994. Surviving are her husband Bob, whom she wed Dec. 6, 1951, in Jeffersonville, Ind.; daughter, Robbie (husband Randy) Olson of Davison, son, John (Linda) Osborne of Fraser; seven grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Clarence) Floyd and Peggy Estes, all of Kentucky, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation, 14 and 69 p.m. today, Hansen Funeral Home, Davison; funeral service, 11 a.m. Tuesday, funeral home, with the Rev. David Knox officiating; burial, Great Lakes National Cemetery; memorials, Brian's House Hospice.
