Beulah V. Thurston, 98, of Madison Heights for 56 years, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at home. She was born Feb. 21, 1909, in Decatur, Ill. Mrs. Thurston was active in home life and loved spending time with family and neighbors. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 1962. Surviving are her children, W. LeRoy Hughes of Fort Gratiot and Robert (Patricia) Hughes of Romeo; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation, 2-8 p.m. today, Hopcroft Funeral Home, Madison Heights; services, 11 am. Tuesday, funeral home; burial, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
