Patrick O'Connor, 79, died peacefully Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at his home. He was born March 11, 1928, in Detroit. Mr. O'Connor went to high school at Sacred Heart Seminary, Detroit, and was an undergrad from Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. and Law School at University of Detroit. He practiced law in the Detroit area for more than 30 years. He loved his family unconditionally. They were his whole life. He possessed a generous heart and was a faithful Catholic. He and his wife, Mary, shared a great and lifelong love for each other. He also was an accomplished artist. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Mary whom he married Aug. 31, 1950; children, Bernadette (Stephen) Cooper, Patrick (Nancy), Norman, Martin (Mary), James (Ginny), Regina (John) Dow, Claremarie (Robert) Sevenich, Kathleen (Paul) Benick, Michael (Holly); grandchildren, Amy (Eric) Whipple, Carrie Cooper, Michael Cooper Janet O'Connor, Daniel O'Connor, Lisa Krauseneck, Michael Krauseneck, Elizabeth O'Connor, Ian O'Connor, Mary Beth O'Connor, Patrick O'Connor, Vincent O'Connor, Jessica O'Connor, Susan O'Connor, Madeline Dow, John Dow, Sarah Dow, Robert Sevenich, Maria Sevenich, Monica Sevenich, Shane Benick, Marita Benick, Colin Benick, Killian O'Connor, Quinn O'Connor and Giavanna O'Connor; great-grandson, Matthew Whipple; and brother, James. He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Lou (Harold) Krauseneck.
