Bruce Allen Merrill, 52, of Flint and formerly of Berkley, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in Flint. He was born Oct. 21, 1954, in Detroit. Mr. Merrill was a Ham radio operator and also the past president of the Hazel Park Amateur Radio Club. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his great nieces, working on cars and sharing facts about history. Mr. Merrill was predeceased by his father, Clyde Merrill. Surviving are his mother, Margaret; siblings, Christine (Forest) Placer and Brian (Laurel) Merrill; nieces and nephews, Curt (Starr) Duca and Grace (Adam) Douglas; great nieces, Mikayla and Sophia Duca.
