Gregory C. Paddock, 59, of Shelby Township, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at home. He was born June 12, 1948, in. Hamtramck. Mr. Paddock was a graduate of Royal Oak Dondero High School and attended Oakland Community College. He was a U.S. Navy veteran with the MCB-3 Seabees and served in Vietnam on the U.S.S. Bronstein in the China Sea. He retired from the Ford Motor Co. Sterling Heights plant with a medical disability after 29 years of service. He was also a life member of the VFW Acorn Post 1669 in Royal Oak. He was predeceased by parents, Francis and Mary Paddock; and sister, Gertrude "Trudy" Smith; and nephew, Cova Ray Smith. He is survived by brother, Dennis (Maria) Paddock of Ferndale; nieces, Mary Brammer, Joyce Behmlander; and nephew Bill Smith. Visitation, 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Wm.
