Bonnie J. Pennington, 74, of Royal Oak and formerly of Arizona and California, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at Medilodge of Royal Oak. She was born Aug. 14, 1933, in Fair Oaks, Ark. She graduated from Hazel Park High School and went on to train and work at Eastern Airlines. She resided in California for more than 42 years where she owned and operated a series of successful businesses. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mable Spencer, and a brother, Wayne Spencer. Surviving are her children, Robin Hell of Ferndale, John Pennington of Los Angeles, Calif. and Tracey Pennington-Williams of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
