Margaret M. Lopez, 86, a 52-year resident of Ferndale, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, in Dallas, Texas. She was born July 14, 1921, in Terre Haute, hid., to Alexander and Martha Rennie. Mrs. Lopez was a longtime employee of the Ferndale Public Schools and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Bruce) Forbes and Nancy (Dennis) Mitchell; grandchildren, Ryan, Alex and Lauren; and brother, John (Maryann) Rennie. She was predeceased by her sisters, Euphemia Sivick and Christina Barbee.
