Cassie G. Marsh, 92, of Royal Oak, formerly of Detroit, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at Alexander Mercy Living Center, Royal Oak. She was born Feb. 13, 1915, in Graves County, Ky. to Charles and Cassie Gregory. Mrs. Marsh was a member of the Unity Church in Royal Oak and Detroit and a member of the D.A.R. She retired from the Detroit public school system where she was a secretary. Mrs. Marsh was predeceased in 1993 by her husband, Bernard, whom she married July 7, 1939 in Detroit. She also was predeceased by her daughter, Marion. Surviving are her son, Stephen (Margaret) Marsh of Royal Oak; daughter, Susan Stinson of Rochester, N.Y.; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials suggested to Unity Church of Royal Oak or National Wildlife Federation.
