Edward A. Outinen, 79, of Ferndale, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, in Ferndale. He was born July 5, 1928, in Eagle River, Mich. Mr. Outinen was a Ferndale resident for 40 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte, in 2000. Mr. Outinen is survived by children, Mark (Phyllis) Outinen of Hazel Park, and Michael (Laura) Collins of Waterford; sister, Faye (Frank) Rouhonen of Westland; and grandchildren, Jamie, Shurri and Aaron. Memorial visitation, 5-9 p.m. Sunday at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights; services, 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. LaVere Webster officiating; cremation.
