Gertrude "Gertie" E. Corey, 81, of Clawson since 1954, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born May 27, 1926, in Detroit to the late Samuel and Maude Schuler. Mrs. Corey loved her family. She was a member of Clawson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to garage sales, traveling and sewing. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Frederick; children, David (Patty) Corey, Bonnie (Billy) Olszewski and Richard Corey; grandchildren, Lance, Garrett and Heidi; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Allyson and Aspen. She was predeceased by a sister, Louise Lee. Visitation, 5-9 p.m. today and 29 p.m. Wednesday at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N.
