David Alexander McClenahan, 93, of Sterling Heights, died on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at home. He was born April 19, 1914, in Princenton, Iowa. He was a veteran of the-Army during World War II, a member of VFW. Post 9222 in Berkley and the Elks Lodge No. 2217 in Pinellas Park, Fla. He retired from the Detroit Tank Arsenal in 1971. He was predeceased by wife Mary Martha "Murph", on July 3, 2007; and children Ronald McClenahan and David McClenahan. Surviving are children Patrick (Nancy) McClenahan and William McClenahan; grandchildren, Kelly (Joe), Kari (Jason), Kyle, Katie, Courtney, Jamie and Erin; and great-grandchildren Justin, Owen, Jacob, Ella, and a baby due in September; nieces 'Pamela Hennenfent and Carol Pugmire. A private cremation was held; arrangements, Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, in Madison Heights.
