Bobby Gene "Fergie" Ferguson, 72, of Van Wert, Ohio, and formerly of Clawson, died of sudden illness Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at home. He was born Dec. 1, 1934, in Huntington, W. Va., to the late Henry Becher and Hazel Marie (Ward) Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson retired from Chrysler-Amplex in 1984. He was a member of the Grace Family Church and attended Liberty FERGUSON Baptist Church in Van Wert. Mr. Ferguson was a 50-year member of Trelum 552, F & AM, and also a member of the Royal Oak Chapter 167, Royal Arch Masons, Pontiac Council No. 3, Royal & Select Masters, Mount Clemens Commandery No. 51, Knights Templar, and Moslem Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S. of Detroit. Mr. Ferguson was predeceased by siblings, William B. Ferguson, Peggy A. Ferguson and Brenda G. Little. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ann (Selby) Ferguson, whom he married in 1956 in Hazel Park; children, Randy P. (Laura) Ferguson of Clawson, Daniel J. Ferguson of Clarkston, Steven A. (Peggy) Ferguson of Scott, Ohio, Michael L. (Judy) Ferguson of Warren, Sandra M. (Raymond) Mullens of Van Wert, and Barbara J. (Peter) Bokedon of Warren; brother, Harry F. (Lisa) Ferguson of Huntington, W. Va.; sister-in-law, Marie Ferguson of Kenova W. Va.; brother-in-law, Raymond Little of Kenova, W. Va.; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation, 5-9 p.m. today at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert; Masonic memorial service, 7 p.m. today at the funeral home; further visitation, 2-8 p.m. Friday at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N.
