Herbert W. Tiemann, 89, a lifelong resident of Ferndale, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007. He was born Feb. 15, 1918, in Detroit to Herbert and Minnie Tiemann. Mr Tiemann was a member of the Ferndale Seniors Club and the First Baptist Church of Ferndale. He is survived by his wife, Lelia Elizabeth; son, Larry (Peggy); and granddaughter, Carrie (Rob) Marvin. He was predeceased by his sister, Loraine Humm. Visitation, 11 a.m. Friday until time of service at noon at Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Directors, Ferndale; interment, White Chapel Cemetery.
