Beatrice Ella (Sawyer) Hall, 96, a 36-year Palm Harbor, Fla., resident, formerly of Royal Oak and Berkley, died Wednesday, July 12, 2007, after a brief illness in her Palm Harbor home. She was born July 16, 1910, in Massachusetts. Surviving are her son, Gerald H. (and his wife Cecelia) of Metamora, Mich.; daughters, Pauline Mathies (and her husband Bob) and Nancy Vick (and her husband Ed) of Palm Harbor, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Sawyer of Memphis, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, William Hall, preceded her in death April 4, 1990. Her brothers, Edward and Willis Sawyer, also preceded her in death. Visitation is Tuesday July 17, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 W. 12 Mile Road, Berkley, Mich. Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the funeral home, with Pastor Reid Kitchen, Faith Baptist Church Davison, Mich., officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley.
