Robert J. Carr age 90 a resident of Royal Oak since 1948 died January 11 2011 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born October 5 1920 in Alpena Mich. Mr. Carr served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the ETO in the Signal Corps as a sergeant. He retired from the Budd Company in 1982. He is survived by his son Gerald Lee Carr of Royal Oak; brothers Richard Carr of Ohio and Keith Mac Carr of Wisconsin; granddaughter Christie (Michael) Watson; and great-granddaughters Hannah and Makayla Watson. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane Carr on September 28 1996; and daughter-in-law Doris Ann Carr. The visitation will be Monday 11 a.m. until the time of service 5 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 705 W Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E. of Woodward) Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Clinton Township.
