Vernon A. Howe age 63 lost his battle with cancer in his Royal Oak home on Friday January 21 2011. Vern was born to Vernon and Willie Howe on Friday June 13 1947 in Ontario Canada. He was little brother to Verna Ann big brother to Albert Cheri Pam and John; and a wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a golden hearted music lover and a big Elvis fan. Vern loved to dance and played a mean air guitar. In his 57 years in Royal Oak Vern touched the lives of many with his friendly demeanor and wonderful sense of humor. He was a regular face at Starr Market where he walked every day. Vern enjoyed his summer visits in rural retreat Virginia and winters in Boca Raton and Hollywood Florida where he will be missed by many. There will be an open wake Saturday January 29 2-6 p.m. at Masonic Hall on 11 Mile in Berkley.
