Ray Buchanan age 88 of Ferndale passed away July 18 2011 at Wm. Beaumont hospital in Royal Oak. Ray worked for Metro-Cab for 40 years then owned Premier Cab for another 20 years after that he was always active raising money for people in need he was also an avid bowler. Ray is survived by his special friend Rosalie; daughter Carol (George Lang) Buchanan; sister Edith Crisp; grandchildren Jennifer Mae Steven Ray and Brian G; one great-grandchild Deacon also survives. Visitation Friday 1-9 p.m. at Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home 23690 Woodward Pleasant Ridge. Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice.
