Thomas A. Longo age 92 a 70 year resident of Ferndale passed away on July 23 2011 at William Beaumont Hospital Troy Mich. He was born on February 25 1919 in Detroit Mich. Thomas was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 58 for over 65 years. Thomas started his own company Longo Electric in 1947 and continued to run the business until his retirement in 1983. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Dolan Council 3rd Degree of Hazel Park Mich. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Marie Longo. Father of Joe (Marge) Tom (June) Mike (Deborah) and the late Jim. Father-in-law of Patty Longo; grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of 27 and great-great-grandfather of 12.
