Carol Ann Hoolehan age 75 a resident of Royal Oak died May 25 2011 at her home. She was born December 7 1935 in Detroit to the late Nan and Ray Head. Mrs. Hoolehan worked for GM Photographic and the Royal Oak School District. She was also a volunteer at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She is survived by her husband John J. Hoolehan the couple married February 1 1958; children Christopher (Beth) Hoolehan of Sandy Hook CT and Holly (Roy) Ruhle of Royal Oak; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Donalda Leach. The visitation will be Monday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 705 W Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward) Royal Oak. Mrs. Hoolehan will lie in state Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak with Msgr. William Easton officiating. The burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
