Virginia May Dickinson age 89 of Royal Oak died October 31. Only child of Edward and May (Olver) Dickinson. Born May 29 1921 in Detroit. Resided in Royal Oak most of her life. She graduated from Royal Oak High School and Highland Park Junior College. She worked for Burroughs Corp. After retirement she volunteered at the Detroit Institute of Arts for over 25 years. She was a member of the Audubon Society and enjoyed walking attending theater and the Detroit Symphony. She enjoyed the company of many friends. She was a long time member of the Birmingham Unitarian Church. A memorial service will be held at the Birmingham Unitarian Church 38651 Woodward Avenue at Lone Pine Road Bloomfield Hills Friday November 5 at 2 p.m. the Rev. Dr. Kathy Hurt officiating. Her cremains will be buried at the Roseland Cemetery in Berkley. Memorial contributions may be made to the Birmingham Unitarian Church.
