This year’s selection for Everyone’s Reading 2011 features Los Angeles defense attorney Mickey Haller, who works out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car. In this thriller, Haller takes on his first high-paying and possibly innocent client in years and finds the case complicated by events that suggest a particularly evil perpetrator. A film of the book, featuring Matthew McConaughey as Haller, was slated to debut March 18. Connelly will make two area appearances in April as part of the Metro Detroit Area’s one book/one author community reading program.
