Learn A Skill For Life: Alexander Technique
Tue, May 04
07:00 PM - 08:45 PM
Friends Auditorium
For over 100 years, actors, dancers, singers and musicians have used the Alexander Technique in order to be more effective on stage. The technique is taught worldwide in universities and conservatories. Alexander Technique is now regarded as the thinking person's response to pain and stress. It helps millions of people across the world to naturally overcome muscle tension and stiffness, back, neck and joint pain, poor posture, breathing and vocal problems, and anxiety and stress-related conditions.
Carol Strozier, a certified and registered Alexander Technique teacher, will explain and demonstrate how to achieve a balanced body and mind, and better health and positive well being. Join us on Tuesday, May at 7:00 PM in the Friends' Auditorium. Wear comfortable clothing. Registration preferred. Fill out the form below or call the adult reference desk at 248-246-3727.
