New Program: Baby Size!

New story times for the youngest children, infants to 15 months and their adults. Enjoy 30 minutes of language building activities for babies including songs, rhymes, and play. Older siblings may attend, but these sessions are designed for babies up through 15 months old. Join the fun!

Registration System for Story Times: Story times are “ticketed drop-in” which means there is no advance registration. On the day of the program, visit the Youth Services Desk and pick up a numbered ticket which will be available 15 minutes before the program begins. Most story times have 24 spots available.

Celebrate Pumpkins!

Try out some science and math on pumpkins before adding some art to decorate a pumpkin to take home. Don’t forget pumpkin music and poetry, too! Registration is requested. Limit 30.

Family Story Times

These 30-minute story times for ages 5 and under with their adults incorporate many enjoyable pre-reading skills including stories, rhymes, songs, finger plays, movement, and a craft. The same program is repeated on Monday and Wednesday mornings.

These story times for independent listeners include a variety of stories, movement, music, and an art or craft activity. Programs last about 45 minutes. Adults wait outside the story room.

Funtastic Halloween ROPL Style!

12:00 pm -2:00 pm

Bring the whole family for a merry, not scary, time of Halloween games, crafts, and activities. Wear your Halloween costume (or come as you are)! Drop in anytime during the festivities, but be sure to allow enough time to circulate around the various activities. No registration necessary.
