Team up with the Royal Oak Public Library March 20 through April 28 to help our hungry neighbors in need. The fourth annual Food for Thought Campaign is a regional effort to offset the post-holiday decline in emergency food availability during the early spring. Last year, 40 participating libraries, including ROPL, collected a record 13,000 pounds of food which provided over 10,000 meals in our community. Throughout the campaign, bring in nonperishable food items and place them in donation boxes inside the library. The Food for Thought Campaign is a regional effort between The Library Network, The Suburban Library Cooperative and Gleaners Community Food Bank.
