Genealogist and librarian Sarah Hatter will return to offer a two-part genealogy series on Wednesdays, starting April 19 at 7:00-8:30 pm in the Friends Auditorium. Enhance your skills with the following sessions:

Wednesday, April 19, 2017: Ancestry Library Edition
Researching your family history can be made easier by using the popular database Ancestry Library Edition, which the public can access at the library. In this class, Hatter will show you how to search the most complete set of U.S. census records available online in one place, along with important family documents such as birth, marriage and death records.

Wednesday, April 26, 2017: Breaking Down Your Genealogy Brick Walls
What do you do when you hit a "brick wall" in your genealogy research? Hatter will share strategies to get beyond your trouble spots and breathe new life into your research. Bring your own "brick wall" problems to class and get advice on what to do next.

Program registration is requested. Register below or call the Adult Reference Desk at (248) 246-3727 to sign up for this free series.
